Install SSL on CloudPanel.
Import a custom certificate and its matching private key into CloudPanel.
Before you begin: use an issued production certificate and its matching private key. Back up the current configuration. Staging certificates are not publicly trusted.
1Open SSL/TLS settings
Select the site in CloudPanel and open SSL/TLS. Use Actions, then Import Certificate. The exact menu placement may differ by version.
2Import the full chain
Paste privkey.pem into the private key field and fullchain.pem into the certificate field. If the panel has a separate chain field, use cert.pem for the certificate and chain.pem for the chain.
3Verify the installation
Import, then inspect the HTTPS endpoint and expiry date. Keep a renewal reminder; a manually imported certificate is not automatically renewed by this service.
Confirm the connection.
Check the installed certificate and chain, then keep an eye on the expiry date.
